Hello…
My name is Kaitlyn Traylor, and I'm an author and illustrator who loves creating art as much as I love reading it. I work digitally to craft middle grade and young adult graphic novels, but my creativity isn't limited to just those. Working with curious and outspoken teenagers provides countless inspiring moments which manage to find their way into my stories. I believe kids should be allowed the freedom to be themselves. This belief drives me to write more books that speak to their lives, interests, and unique voices. At the end of the day, I want kids to fall in love with reading as I did in spite of my struggles to learn.
My message to them is simple: It's okay to be weird, to be authentic, and even a little crazy. Be bright, be the fire, because the world is a brighter place when you shine!
